Dr. Ellen Rawls is a Huntsville native and 2012 graduate of Grissom High School. She then went on to Auburn University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. During undergraduate, Ellen played mellophone as member of the marching band and volunteered at the Southeastern Raptor Center and Storybook Farm. She continued her studies at Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2020. During veterinary school, she was elected by her classmates to serve on the Student Board of Ethical Relations. After graduation, Dr. Rawls accepted a job with Animal Care Clinic. She has a passion for relationship-based care and maximizing the quality of life for each of her patients. Her interests include Cardiology and Internal Medicine.

Dr. Rawls is married to her husband Greg. They have a Lab mix named Finn and a calico cat named Molly. Outside of work, Dr. Rawls enjoys traveling, hiking, and all things Auburn. She has also volunteered with the Friends of Moose Medical Brigade which provides veterinary care to remote villages in Honduras.
